Hey Shady Fanatic,

I hope I get to see you face to face sometime. I've got some good ideas about how to change your appearance!

  1. some people are just to ugly even without seeing their picture hey shady,... sorry i havent anwsered your question, but had to comment on rude ugly people, their ugliness shows through thier words, with out having to even see what they look like, with a mouth like that, no one will want to see what the rest of them are like...amen...lol

  2. good question..i call it being visited..and i have been visited...some spirits had things left undone,unsaid..this was the reason for those visits however i think that random visits are due to the foot print theory...its like stepping on grass..as you walk you leave a print...i think though that not all people are visited or can see spirits, then there are those that do....final word...to be able to see is due to being open, taught that, what one knows is the truth and being in balance...

  3. There's probably no likely scientific reasoning for hauntings. But they still happen, quite frequently. Also did you notice that shady fanatic has no picture? I wonder what that says........

  4. I do not think that our science has progressed far enough to offer explanations of such events.   The area of psi is still the great unknown in scientific exploration.

That's not to say that great minds have not thought about these issues.   The best evidence of exploration of such matters may be in the Tibetan Book of the Dead, which discusses different bardos of existence.  Perhaps some the earlier Sanskrit texts may also shed some light.

  5. Possibly time lapses caused by strong emotions creating a sort of sink hole. This is a scientific possibility. Since most things paranormal deal on the spiritual level, it probably won't be known until people are more spiritually advanced.

  6. There is no more a scientific reasoning behind a haunting than there is definitive proof Ouija boards produce demons.

Battlefields, hospitals, sanitariums, and prisons seem to absorb traumatic events in a humans life.

Some feel that if a site or building is built on top of granite or quartz, there will be more residual fallout.

Maybe some things in life are meant to stay a mystery to keep our minds intrigued.

  7. since science itself does not recognize the paranormal as being real, I am thinking that there is no scientific explaination.  But I know what I know, and I won't stray from it, just because people who have more formal education than myself say it is not so.  Where would we be today if Columbus has not stuck to his guns and argued that the world was not flat?  It may not be proven in my lifetime but it will happen.

  8. Hauntings are very well understood by science. They are creations of the human imagination.I think legitimate paranormal investigators know or at least strongly suspect that.

By the way, your avatar is just fine.

  9. I do not know of the scientific explanation for hauntings myself.  I know several people who say they have seen ghosts who are people that are not extreme about things in any way.  I do not know how to explain it other than what could possibly be residual energy from a person who has passed.  The jury is still out for me on this.

Please disregard Shady Fanatic, he obviously understands who he is judging by the screen name he gave himself.  You, my dear, are a very handsome man, I can assure you.

  10. I personally don't, all the explanations I have would be considered unscientific, but I frankly would LOVE to see something beyond it "you can't prove it." No offense to the skeptics, just saying that we're both saying exactly the same thing, which I find almost hilarious. lol. I would love to see *something*.

And I mostly answered this just to be able to tell you that I reported shady fanatic. Don't let him get to you, people like him are just not worth getting angry over.

    peace to you

  11. Science stole the ART

  12. well I don't really know why ghost haunt people, have you tried watching this,

  13. one explanation might be soemthing i've read (can't remember where, sorry) that when violent events happen, they leave an "imprint" in the area - in the ground or the fabric of that space/time - and the imprint plays back like a looped recording.  hence repeated sightings of the same event in the same place.

i've never seen one; not sure if i'd like to or not!

and btw, ignore shady - some people are ugly on the outside [I am] and some are ugly on the inside.  no one who wan't ugly all the way through would have written what s/he did - they must have the word "ugly" printed all through them like seaside rock.

And as that's the case, why dignify them by taking their venom seriously?  that kind of person will do anything to get attention, like a baby throwing a tantrum

show us a photo of yourself, shady, and give us all a good laugh!

  14. first of all I dont think you look like a bald ol santa claus, and besides everyone loves santa.

that wasnt very nice thing to say about your picture, some people have no cooth.

anyways hauntings can be explained only in ones mind, our mind is so powerful, just look around at the world, isnt it amazing?  so many weird and wonderful things that we cant explain and yet there they are right in front of us, cant deny them. they exist because we see it.  they exist because we dont.  a haunting I think is time recorded over and over and over again. the same people, living different times in different worlds. maybe these lives get trapped in sound waves, brought thru black holes.........introduced into our world or maybe our world is really their world and yet maybe there isnt any world at all because we dont exist, we're just imagination..........would someone bring back Ayrton Senna thru one of them black holes to this time.......... we miss him

    :-(

  15. science without explanation is religion lol

  16. Science hasn't come that far. The paranormal is much more advanced than Science is.

I reported shady too..and also someone else I know did too...besides hislady..but they haven't deleted it so far. I got reported and deleted for saying a picture of a devil scared me. This is totally different.

    Edit..OK...he's gone now!!

Just in case you don't know...you're very cute!!  I'm sure you know that or you wouldn't have posted your picture on your avatar! lol (I'm thinking of posting a picture of Marilyn Monroe for mine! ) lol (Or maybe Kim Novak!)

  17. The word haunting is very much like the world paranormal in that it applies to a variety of different phenomena. For instance some hauntings are primarily auditory (in fact most) and some involve visual images. So, I suspect there is not one theory that fits to explain every haunting just like one theory does not cover all of human experience.

While it a bias in science to want one universal theory even superstring theory acknowledges that it only addresses physical properties of the universe not meaning or experience. There is also no logic or evidence that suggest there has to be or even is or could be one universal theory despite the wishes of some scientist.

That said there are many theories involving ESP where apparitions are seen and theories involving psychokinesis where movements of objects are indicated.

There are also theories involving everything from underground water sources to electro magnetic fields to temporal lobe epilepsy to explain different aspects of a haunting experience.
