Does anyone have a site that I can go to on porcupine quilling?

I have been trying to learn Native American porcupine quilling. I'm not really sure of the materials (needle style, sizes) sinue size. I have a hard time understanding the instructions. The quickest and easiest way to remove the quills from a porcupine, is to sprinkle the carcass with hardwood ashes.

  

The acidic nature of the ashes will cause the quills and hair to be pulled out easily.

Have you tried the CrazyCrow site? They have a starter kit (that I eventually want to try for myself) with instructions.
