Does anyone have a success story with a social backgorund as a young child?

I was born and raised in a rural area as a first and only child. I had no siblings or playmates. That put me socially behind than usual. As I got older I was exposed to children my age and with the help of my mother and other adults. I did get better and enjoyed having a social atmosphere. I am now a social butterfly.
