If you take "ice cream" talk to the teacher ahead of time to see if you can MAKE ice cream.

    Materials

    1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup whipping cream (heavy cream)

    1/4 cup sugar

1/4 teaspoon vanilla or vanilla flavoring (vanillin)

1/2 to 3/4 cup sodium chloride (NaCl) as table salt or rock salt

    2 cups ice

    1-quart ZiplocTM bag

    1-gallon ZiplocTM bag

Add 1/4 cup sugar, 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup whipping cream, and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla to the quart ziplocTM bag. Seal the bag securely.

Put 2 cups of ice into the gallon ziplocTM bag.

Add 1/2 to 3/4 cup salt  to the bag of ice.

Place the sealed quart bag inside the gallon bag of ice and salt. Seal the gallon bag securely.

Let the kids shake and rock the bag they can dance around the room whatever. (let them wear gloves or put a cloth around the bag..so they don't freeze their paws)

it will take about 10 minutes or so to turn into ice cream.

discard the gallon bags and give each kid a plastic spoon to enjoy their ice cream!

    ICE CREAM

    ICE

in case that was an L...then you could make lollipops..but that involves a stove. you could make them at home and bring them in..maybe with pictures of you and your child making them.

    or LUNCH

    LAUGHTER (they could tell jokes?)

    good luck...ooh LUCK!
