I am so annoyed. My sister called and told me she saw the new CD my guy wanted on the shelf at Target. I went there, found it, and called him to say I would drop it off tonight. I
went to pay for it, and was told I couldn't buy it because it wasn't supposed to be on the shelf yet. I told them there were about 20 of them, and it showed up just fine when I used the scanner to check the price. I was told someone must have put it out by mistake, but I can go back on Tuesday.
I would think since it was their mistake and the item had not been removed yet, I should be able to make the purchase.
Obviously, not having the CD for two days won't kill us, but Target's not just around the corner from either of us.
I have never had this happen. Usually when the mistake is the fault of someone at the store, things are done to satisfy the customer.
I would really like to email the corporate office and express my frustration.
