Bootie says he has a good idea of who it was, and sounded like he was calling them chicken s**t for doing it.

  1. NASCAR will not release that information. I'm a member of the media and have access to several NASCAR Media-Only sites, and numerous  members have requested that information but have been denied by NASCAR.

But it has been stated on numerous sites that it was a common acceptance in the garage that there was a violation.

  2. I don't think anyone did. NASCAR has ruined the sport-the COT is c**p. The teams build them to fit the template, NASCAR has dictated "no gray areas". Booty I'm sure was referring to the NASCAR chicken*** rules.

  3. It was moe than likely Chad Knaus to take the heat off him at HMS.

  4. The car made it through two inspections prior to being ratted out by someone. Here is the info:

  5. I read somewhere it was commonly known throughout the garage area so it could have been any number of people.

  6. I don't have an answer, sorry.

  7. Nobody turned Haas / CNC in. The violation was discovered during the first tech inspection which happens before the cars enter the track for the first practice. Just like the Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon incidents of early last year, the templates still fit the car, but a "grey" area had been exploited, which NASCAR has very clearly stated is a huge no-no with this new car. The only people who would have known about this would be people within the Haas organization itself, and teams don't just go to other teams and say "Hey, guess what we did to try to gain more rear grip....". I think Booty Barker was trying to say that it is pretty chicken-s**t on NASCAR's part when the templates still fit the cars and yet the teams still get violated and fined.

  8. some 1 at JGR Named Kyle Busch
