  1. just be yourself is the most important thing!

    you will make friends quick.

but don't get too caught up in people, be aware of your school work!

  2. i am to idk- - -...i want advice like that also

  3. well try not to be on anyone bad side or it will be h**l. more kids means more drama so don't give anyone a reason to hate you. just be friendly and if that don't work don't try to be with them.

  4. I did an opposite type of move, so I understand your concern.  Practice getting to school and timing the drive.

Walk the school hallways a bunch of times so you get to know your way around (before the first day).

Kids are the same know matter where you teach.  They will test you at the beginning so you can't be scared.

So, take a deep breath, practice, prepare, and you will see it is not as scary as you thought.

  5. put yourself out there and don't get dragged to one particular click

  6. I am in high school in Fort Wayne. Once you have your first day there, you get use to it just like any other school. There are just more kids and lockers. Plus schools that are kind of big have maps all over the walls down a lot of the hallways. I would suggest to look online at the school's website for maps of the school before you go. If you have your classroom numbers, look them up on the map of the school and figure out the fastest way to get there. The hallways are always packed at my school. It also helps to meet new people there that have gone before and ask them if you need help with directions. Teachers are always glad to help too.
