Too close to Gunspoint and the airport for me.  I would think this would be an affordable neighborhood for African Americans.  www.greatschools.net shows the school demographics:

Elementary is Milton Cooper Elementary - 49% Hispanic and 45% African American; middle school is Bammel - 46% African American and 40% Hispanic; high school is Dekaney and Westfield - 52% African American and 32% Hispanic.  If you are within those demographics then this might be the place for you although the schools don't get a high mark.  You can check out their scores for yourself.  I would be a minority in any of these schools so that subdivision would not be for me.  I like the more diversified neighborhood I get from living in the inner city.
