Does anyone have any details for windows 7?

details like what will be the differances between it and vista, will it be any better than vista, what will be the system requirements, what will we gain by using it over other windows operating systems like xp,release date, what will it be called at its release - you know that kind of thing, I guess I am wondering what else microsoft can add to its operating system and which direction this O.P will take,

Basically its going to be the same as Vista but its going to sort out the problems with the slow start ups etc. Also there going to add in more and betters features such as VHD (Virtual Hard Disk).

i hear it's supposed to be a improved version of win xp since vista was an improved version of win m.e. but you can bet the farm it's gonna cost more and be incompatable with all but the latest hardware.

I understand the operating system now in development will be web based so you will not have an operating system as such on your computer. This is not new If you get sky tv you have an operating system installed on your digi-box already.

No one actually knows at the moment. Everyone is speculating what it is going to be like. The Beta version for programmers and developers hasn't been released yet! So until it is everyone is still in the dark.
