Does anyone have any experience with GA Pre K registration in Cobb(Kennesaw)?

When do you have to stand in line to register? Which month does the registration begin? What are the good GA- Pre K schools in Kennesaw/acworth area?

I don't know the specifics of Cobb county, but in Habersham, Hall, & White counties registration usually starts around February. Sometimes the centers start a waiting list even earlier then that. You usually don't have to stand in line. You can get the paperwork, fill it out at home, then return it. That does not guarantee that your child will get in. Some programs fill up quickly and they do first come first serve, or a lottery drawing. I would recommend you contact the school you would like your child to go in order to get more specific instructions. I don't know of any schools in Cobb county but you can go to the Bright From the Start website and click on pre-k then report card to find out how the schools in your area have done on the PQA evaluation. Look for schools that at least have all mets and some exceeds.
