I just got a 2005 Hyundai Accent and apparently color/trim in not a strength for that particular vehicle. It's bright red and has chipping paint on the back of the rear-view mirrors and small spots on the back. What is the best way to fix this without having to get a whole new paint job? I tried waxing, didn't really work, any tips, advice, or experience??

  1. I live on the beach, so my car gets the salt water issues.  Chipped paint, oxidization.  It's a pain.

However, you can go to any auto parts store and buy touch-up paint.  They sell it in a variety of different ways and they'll help you pick out the correct color.  My color is called Honda Teffeta White, lol.

  2. You can purchase touch up sticks for all types of cars to match the colour code of your make and model. If your in the u.k. go to halfords.
