  1. I used to take my kids to the local fast food place and let them play in the playground.  Buy a big french fries, share a drink... different straws or ask if the fast food place would donate to the girls a kids meal.  The playground at the  local McDonalds by me is inside and airconditioned.

  2. Bring a radio, let them wiggle to the music.

Hide and seek.  If you have blocks or anything, have them search for the "red" blocks and then have them take them to the 2 yr olds.   Etc.

Bring some old sheets and some clothes line.  Make tents (castles).  With newsprint or construction paper, make crowns.  (Can be colored on, taped in place).

Do paper mache, if you can stand the mess, old newspaper, flour and water.  Doing balloons is fun (usually can get a bunch for a dollar, also good for water balloons.

Start a symphony from found objects.  Sticks, rocks, pans, etc.

  3. sit in a dark room with a computer they will find something to do eventuly

  4. if your allowed to take them outside go in the pool or water balloons. if not just do puzzles or hand games. also word searches or scavenger hunts like whoever wins gets a little prize. good luck [=
