Her own bath stuff, she'll appriciate having things just for her. When I was 13 and got my own shampoo, conditioner and body wash I loved the idea of having something just for me.

It depends how much you are willing to spend and what type of person she is. If you could stereotype her basically or give a description in a nutshell, it would be easier to narrow it down.

Trendy clothing or a gift basket filled with good smelling shampoo, body wash, and lotions.  A gift card to their favorite store is also a big hit.  Most 13 year olds love to shop and gift cards give them that feel of using a credit card.

or a manicure, pedicure, or a teen facial (many places do this now)

a gift card is always a great idea. maybe one to her favorite store? don't try and tell me she doesn't like to shop at ANY stores ;] also, maybe some hair/body products. Perhaps you can have a gift basket filled with things like, nail polish, shampoo, a gift certificated to a local spa/nail salon, jewerly, makeup [if she wears any] and many more.

if she isn't as girly, maybe a movie bucket. my friend got me that and i was very happy. you can buy those popcorn buckets [you pop the popcorn directly in the bucket] and fill it with smaller packs of microwaveable popcorn, movie candy like Milk Duds, a Blockbuster or movie theather giftcard, a DVD....the possibilities are endless!

If you're willing to spend more money, an ipod or a mp3 is a great idea. and why not also give her a itunes giftcard?

~A beach kit with like a beach towel, a frisbee, flipflops, and a cute piece of summery jewelry

~A summer scrapbooking kit with like a blank album/book , cute stickers, etc.

~R her ears pierced? I always luv getting earrings!

~Speaking of jewelry, myabe a jewelry making kit?

You can't go wrong with buying accessories:

Hair ties, Hair Clips, bracelets, necklaces, belts, purses,

Unless of course she is not a girly girl.  In that case, I would go with something more neutral: DVD, CD, Movie Tickets, Board Game
