   For overseas:
   
   -Children's book drive
   
   -Donate shoes/clothing/etc. to orphanages
   
   For your community:
   
   -Meals on wheels (or something similar)
   
   -Visit/read to sick/elderly/underprivileged children
   
   -Clean up local park/lake/etc.

   Try knitting hats for orphans or cancer patients. Knifty knitters make round looms that are easy to use. Lifelineofhope.org
   
   sends these to orphanages around the world. Go to www.makeachildsmile.org
   
   this website is for kids that have terminal illnesses and need a helping hand. Collect cans of food for a local food bank. Volunteer at a homeless shelter. Read or be mentors to less fortunate kids. Big brother or sisters club. YMCA. All kinds of things out there.
