  1. i would sugest i copple oscers a few red-tail cat fish and a large red-devil would make i nice start

  2. heck yeah I got ideas. but you gotta know how big your tank is. if you put too many, your fish will start ploppin over one by one until there is enough space for them. But there are tooons of fish. I recommend first a pleco for  the bottom. Then if you want small not so extravagant fish go with danios, zebra or leopard variety, tetras are more shiny and flashy, barbs, there are so many kinds, guppies of course, and gouramis are nice. then you've got little puffer fish that don't really puff, but they're fun, and solitary fish are always nice. Avoid things like tiger barbs, redtailed sharks, bala sharks, pictus cats etc. They're semi aggressive and they'll stress and kill the rest of your fish. They're totally cool, but fish will die, especially in a small tank.

If it's really small, go with guppies. You usually need at LEAST 3 or 4 of each fish for them to not be stressed out and happy. I really like clown loaches, they're fun, but they get big, and if you put em alone, they get lonely and die.

Remember, it's like 1 inch of fish, per gallon. That's a simple rule of thumb. not like written in Stone, but you can't go wrong with that.

avoid goldfish in a tropical comm. tank. avoid cichlids, avoid semi aggressives.

  3. goldfish are pretty dirty

i would recomend neon tetras, dwarf gourami (the blues ones are especially pretty), guppies, and fish of that type. Go to your local petstore and they should help you find fish that is right for your tank

at petsmart they have sections for fish that are good community fish adn get along with others

  4. Need to know tank size really but good small options would be

Galaxy Rasbora, Any of the small tetras or if the tank is big enough (min 3ft long) Praecox rainbows.

  5. i would say goldfish they are cool looking and live for a long time we have a gold fish it's 14 years old hope i helped

  6. i realy like danios

i like the kyathit and zebra danios

  7. Neon tetras are nice. they are easy to take care of and you can have alot in one tank. They dont get too big and you can mix them with alot of other fish like cory catfish and rummy nose tetras. In my opinion, they are really nice fish.

  8. I agree neon tetras are the smallest fish you can find and should be kept in groups of at least 5 and they should be in the minimum of 3 gallons

  9. I have a community tank and I've kept Sunset Platy and Mickey Mouse Platy fish with Small Corydoras catfish and Cherry Barbs. They are all peaceful. These are all schooling fish and you should get at least 4 to six of each. Always more females to a school so that the male won't worry the females to death. Lots of choices out there for you. Research on some of the web sites for Aquarium fish. Some fish can't be kept with other fish because the like different PH water or temps. Here's a really great site to go to. wetwebmedia.com
