Does anyone have any good volleyball nicknames?

I need some really good and creative volleyball nickanmes for about 10 people! my friends and i have been racking our brains but have had no luck! please help if you can!

ive also seen people that use names like jelly bean or snickers for example

u should try to find nicknames that really descrice the person or use their name

This may sound racist but everyone on my highschool JV team had nicknames for each other.

I'm an OH and part chinese and filipino so they call me-Noodle or Doggy Eater

our libero is japanese so we called her-Sushi

We called our tall middle-Breadstick

We called our other OH- Fried Chicken

We called our setter-Curry

We called our other middle-Twin (because her and our breadstick are both really tall)

the other two players i forget but were the most diverse team within our volleyball program (filipino, chinese, japanese, african american, american, indian, and samoan)so it was easy to name each other by race and we always make fun of each other... so maybe you can go with race?

hitter: Slam It!, Pound It!, Hitlist, Full of Hits, the Crusher, iHit

setter: Softy, Boss, Spuer-Pusher, Queen of te Court, iSet

libero/back row: Dig it Deep, Down Digger, Gold Digger, iDig

you could try thinking of names for people using what you know about them, like looks, personality, anything unusual they do (like their stance...or w/e) or use like an inside joke.

if u are short you can do shortstack. or like ummm some girls on my team is like jellybean bc she does something weird when she is in ready position. or ummm.... idk it depends on your name and stuff.

I don't know if someone can give you a nickname to give to another person they don't even know.  Nicknames are something very individual, and something that is given for a reason - not just for the sake of having one.

I am a hitter (any position), and in college I was called "Bam Bam" (my first name is Pam. . .  ha ha).  I now have the nickname of "volleyball s**t" because I don't ever turn down playing in a league or tournament.  I have been called that for YEARS.

Find something about each of the ones you are looking to nickname.  Is there something they are really known for?  Something that can play off their names, or something that describes a part of their personality.  Don't look too hard, or the nickname won't mean much.  But it is very individual, and I don't think I could give you any names that would really be fitting.  Sorry.
