Does anyone have any helpful tips regarding adoption and the adoption process in Texas?

My husband and I are considering adopting a child and would like to know how to go about the process. We have two children of our own and still have enough love to share. I know that we have to go through a screening process but after that I haven't a clue.

My friends are adopting thru the Gladney Center for Adoption based in Ft. Worth (they have other offices too).  Go to their website and there is a section where you can request an information packet.  http://www.adoptionsbygladney.com.
