Question:

Does anyone have any idea what's going on with me??

For the past few days or so, I've been blacking out a lot, like 5 times a day. When I blackout I just have to wait for awhile (5-30 seconds) until it goes away and I can see clearly again. Also, when it happens, I get a painful rush throughout my head, neck, and shoulders.

I've also been feeling really zoned out and dizzy a lot.

And I sometimes get this painful rush without blacking out, but rarely.

Any idea of how I can get rid of this annoyance?

  1. Go get your eyes checked, it might be that.

  2. Migraines maybe??

are you getting enough sleep? eating healthy and balanced diet?

There are so many possibilities, be safe and see a Dr. ASAP!!!

and let your mom or dad know what's going on ASAP too!

    Feel good soon.

  3. Ask your mom to please make an appointment for you to see the doctor.  It could be many things but some could be serious or life threatening.  It used to happen to me when I was 12 or 13.  I ended up in the hospital for nearly 2 weeks.

  4. The following medical conditions are some of the possible causes of Blackouts (other than alcohol). There are likely to be other possible causes, so ask your doctor about your symptoms.

    Arrhythmia

    Aortic stenosis

    Hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy

    Diabetes mellitus

    Blood pressure medication

    Heart attack

    Aortic dissection

    Epilepsy

    Stroke

    Transient ischaemic attack

    Prolonged standing

    Emotional episode

    Low blood sugar

However beause you're young it sounds more like tension headaches as it involves the head and neck and shoulders due to spasms.

It does sound  like tension related esp as it radiates to your neck and shoulders.  You probably could use a chiropractic visit! Sorry to hear that you had such a horrible panic attack. Our brains do pick up on any physical discomfort and start the panic cycle...Fear or something being wrong with our body/adrenaline release/hyperventalation/panic attack/fear of panic and on and on it goes...I have had the exact same sensation that you describe. I am a dance teacher and really put my muscles through the paces! You could try the chiropractor, a massage, yoga or all or the above to get some relief from tension. Good luck!

You are not going mad and you do not have a brain tumor which you could give you  unbearable pains.
