Does anyone have any idea why my front speakers and tweeters do not work but the rear speakers do?

  1. balance not where it should be. Adjust the balance k**b.

    maybe a crossed wire or something came loose during the hook-up.

    maybe bad speakers, contact the company you bought them from.

  3. the wiring is probably a bit loose happend in my dads jaguar..... just take em off make shuire u got the cords in rite and tight. i was gonna say maybe there blown but if u just got em... then yeah

  5. I've had my car for 6 years.  The front speakers are in the front door panels.  I think that from lots of door openning and closing, it losened the wires on the drivers side.  That's what my mechanic told me anyway.

    But, since your speakers are new, I would take your car back to whoever installed it and let them figure it out.  They probably wired them wrong.

  6. most likely wiring, however, you probably have two selectors, one for left to right, and one for fade or front to back-could be you have that turned toward the rear speakers-good luck
