Does anyone have any ideas where i could do participant observation on moral panic about terrorism?

I was first thinkin of airports and check in, but id have to buy a ticket to do that! I am a student so nothing too ambitious.

in many countries - u can ask your local homeland security or its equivalent where they have materials and mock attacks and sometimes even public participation to simulate a real situation.  

write / ask your local police / civil defence too.
