Does anyone have any info on the Bureau of Indian Affairs? Or how I would use a census number?

My daughters father is half Navajo, he has a census number and I was told I could use that to get my daughter some benefits and possibly get money owed to him by the goverment. I am not sure how I go about using it.

if the government gave money away that had Indian blood then the government would be broke cause everyone(White Folks with they Cherokee)  says they have Indian blood in them!  My Wife and I are Full Blooded Navajo's and We get nothing so get over it!
