Hello again --

Jacob was naturalized October 30, 1873 by the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois. When he registered to vote in Chicago on March 12, 1889, he gave his address as 191 W. Huron St. and claimed to have been a resident of Cook County for 21 years.

According to a family tree on Ancestry.com, Jacob's birth date was 12/14/1833, he was born in Grossheppach, Germany.  Died 10/21/1909 in Chicago.  

Parents were:  Johann Jacob Burkhardtsmaier (1/24/1798 to 3/15/1870, born and died in Germany) and Wilhelmine Magdaiena Ellwanger

(4/2/1804 to 3/21/1876, born and died in Grossheppach, Germany).  Johann and Wilhelmine were married 11/24/1824.
