I am trying to look for info, did not hear anything but I recently purchased one so if you do have any info please let me know.

We are very interested in the Chicco Discovery travel system as well, and noticed that Babiesrus has pulled them from the shelves... so I called Chicco directly.

Here is what they told me: They are testing the base. The haven’t announced a recall, but they have pulled some travel systems off the shelves. They are doing test’s on the base’s. The lady I talked to expects the systems to be back on the shelves in less than 2 weeks (with or without changes) based upon test results.

She gave me a 1800# to call for updates/questions. 1800-807-8817.

If you own a Chicco travel system you are urged to call and give them the serial number on the back of the base.
