Does anyone have any makeup hints and tips?

I want to look the best I can for returning to college in september.

primer always work to help the make up stay on longer.

~ Experiment with colored liner, such as green, blue, and purple. Of course test it out before you plan on going anywhere, though.

~ To make your eyeliner and eyeshadow stay (on your eyelid and below your lash line), brush some powder make-up on. I actually use just some cheap loose powder mineral make-up. It somehow makes it stay on and not budge all day.

~ Smoky eyes are beautiful. If you haven't done it already, there's some great tutorial videos on YouTube, just search "smoky eyes".

~ Make your eyes pop and just clear lip gloss works fine.

~ If your hair is dry/in bad shape, conditioner is your best friend. It's realllly good for your hair, once a week I actually sleep with my hair damp then soaked in conditioner under a shower cap. It's magic.

~ If applying like face powder, prime first! It makes it look better. Get a nice moisturizer, I just use the one that came in my Proactiv kit, and do that- then wait until it's dry, then do your make-up. It's better for your skin and looks a million times better.

~ Sometimes that rolled-out-of-bed look can really work for you! You've just gotta do it right, experiment on a day you're at home.

Try using tinted moisturiser instead of foundation, it's much lighter and your skin will be able to breathe more

Smooth a tiny bit of vaseline on your eyebrows to keep the hairs in place once you've groomed them

Make sure you use a primer (such as Benefit's Lemonaid) if you're going to wear statement eye shadow

Use clear mascara on your eyelashes before you put your black mascara on - the clear mascara protects your lashes and the black mascara will go on more evenly if it has a base of clear mascara (apply the black when the clear is still wet)

Use cheek and lip stain (Benefit do a great one) instead of blushers and lipsticks. You'll look far more youthful and radiant.

to make your eyes stand out more, if you have got blue eyes use brown eyeshadows, dark grey eyeliner and mascara. too make your eyes look bigger put eyeliner in the outer corners of your eyes and white eyeliner near your tearducts. Also lightly putting lipstick in the middle part of your lips makes them look fuller.

Can you be more specific?  Like- what is an asset that you want to accentuate?

Also, check out websites like Cosmo Mag and Ivillage for the newest make- up trends.  The MaryKay website also has some good tips and virtual models where you can upload your picture.  You don't have to buy their products, but you can get some ideas.  

Remember that college is a perfect time to keep it simple.  You don't have to be glamerous with flash eyelashes and red lipstick for class.  Light lip gloss, brown eyeliner and mascara is always a great look for sitting in classes!

Instead of putting on full makeup every day (I know I sure didn't want to do that when I was taking classes), you can get by with just a bit of lip gloss and concealer. As for your eyes, even just using mascara will make your eyes pop. If your eyes are deep-set like mine, eyeliner sometimes makes them look even smaller, so I'd say skip it.

there are soooo many tips out there, much useful stuff out there,

but if your looking for blush tips number one is to make sure that you clean your bushes i use a face wash for mine and i clean them about every other week, but you can do once every 3 weeks or every month.

I just like every thing clean. Also get a good moistureise. Oh and all ways use sunscreen.
