Does anyone have any pre pointe exersizes for me????????

I've been dancing since i was a todler (now going into 7th grade). I dance with a jazz studio with the compititive program which has jazz some ballet (but not much) hip hop and lyrical. I do all of those. This is my forth year in the compitive program but have done jazz and some ballet before.

I reaently have started with my local ballet school in a pre pointe class and want to get up on to pointe. I'm not sure how long it will be but i want it to be soon. Is there any exersizes that i can do???????????????

  1. echappes releves eleves press ups go into second position do a grand plie and roll up into a forced arch  do whatever yo can to strengthen ur ankles use a thera band and write the alphabet in the air you can do lower case upper case or even cursive the first time yo umight get to g and be dying but dont get discouraged


  2. - Do reps of rises and releves, this will help strengthen your feet and ankles.

    - Practice doing demi-pointe ballet exercises.

    - Try using a Resistance/Thera Band to strengthen feet and ankles while pointing and flexing feet.

  3. Put the balls of your feet on the edge of a stair, do as many releves as you can, the more consistently you do this, the more you will be able to do at a time.

  4. definitely do lots of relave's pleas and if u can go somewhere with a bar and do some bar stretches: put 1 leg on the bar face Ur leg bind towards Ur leg bind back then tUrn w/ Ur leg still on the bar and go down 2 the floor.thin again come up and go back. that is ur basic bar stretch!!!!!=) then of course do the other leg!!!
