  1. How 'bout Sauteed Plantains in Caramel Sauce?  Its an Emeril recipe but looks pretty easy.


  2. Bake them.  I make baked bananas all the time and they're wonderful.  Just cut them in half, place them in a greased baking pan (8x8), top with a few pats of butter and sprinkle them with brown sugar.  Bake them at 325 for 15 minutes; serve them warm with whipped cream.  YUM.

  3. add plantains, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, some almonds, some pistachios and mango fruit. Blend  and makes a delicious drink.

  4. I don't see a single reason why you couldn't make Plantain Bread. Just replace bananas with the plantains. Why not?
