Does anyone have any spring bulletin board ideas?

I once did a board of a rainbow and had the name of the colors written on each color of the rainbow.  then I gave each child a butterfly, flower, and cloud for them to color then pinned them up by the rainbow with there names on them.   I think that it is important for children to see there own artwork up.  and it was fun to do... good luck!

I really like the answer above! Great idea... Here is what I do.  I have a tree up in my room and it changes with the seasons. Now that winter is over leaves will begin to appear on the tree and each child has a leaf with their picture on it.  The kids can add leaves and art work to the tree. I also paint bees around the tree or birds in the tree.  My assistant has painted tulips under the tree and the kids make things for the tree too. It's interactive and fun. The kids like to find their pictures on the tree.  Maybe we will make a handprint rainbow to hang above the tree... (thanks for the idea from the answer above mine!)

If you have pics from the beginning of the year take new ones now and put the new ones on flowers, old ones on flowerpots "Look how we've grown!"

ive used the following ideas with some variations for the ages from infant to kindergarten classes.....

flowers and eggs---all or some of the parts made from childs artwork---from marble painting, prints, coloring, painting,etc...either made with the childs help(older children) or cut from childs artwork(youngest groups)

lions/lambs--see above for how....

rainbows

clouds/raindrops/puddles/umbrellas/and any combination there of

babies--using mother/baby animals or using childmade backgrounds with actual pictures using childrens baby pictures

or any  other topic from your lessonplans

I have done this in my classroom and it looked so cool. Make flowers out of tissue paper like you make the kleenex wedding flowers. (fold like a fan, tie it in middle and separate layers to make a 3D flower). So with the tissue paper you make large flowers. Make them in various colors. Put on bulletin board and add green paper stems and leaves. Make them various lengths - even add a vase if you want. It looks really neat.

you could decorate it with flowers and spring colors like pink, green, yellow and sky blue. and you could put tissue paper grass lining the bottom.

The bulletin board I just did for spring has the top half blue, and the bottom part green.

I made white cloud cut outs and had a few of the children paint them with glue and apply cottons balls to them. When they were done I put them in the sky. I also cut out a sun and I had two helpers sprinkle it with gold glitter, which I put in the corner.

I drew an airplane and had the pilot look like the 2 year old teacher (I did the bulletin board for  her the 2 year old class). The airplane is pulling a large sign that says, "It's Finally Spring!" I traced the letters with glue and had one of the children sprinkle it with glitter for me.

I then made a drawing that resembled each of the children in the class and put them on the board. I have them each flying a kite.

I cut out a bunch of different diamonds and let them decorate them however they chose. I had a table of art supplies and they really went to town. They picked a color yarn and we put up their kites to fly. I added trees that are starting to bloom.

As they make different projects I'll add them to the board such as butterflies, bees, etc.
