  1. I thought the "Old Guy" gave you alot of helpful information for getting you started in the stock market.

I like to give you additional sites that will also provide you some useful information

  2. It's a great idea to start investing early but make sure you do a little homework first.  Understand the difference between longterm and short term investments, try to define some goals, and i would not recommend trying to pick out indvidual stocks.  If you are not investing much it may be difficult to get much professional help so use books and the internet(msn money ect...) to learn the basics.

  3. Read the book "Wall Street: The Other Las Vegas" by Nicolas Darvas.

  4. i recommend you to visit this site below if you 16 years old interested in investing in the stock market:

  5. Find someone who is a friend and will give you free advice, they'll help you understand and pick. Start reading books on basic investing. Start by buying stock in companies you like. For example, if you like shoes and you're an athlete, buy Nike. Now is a great time to start, you have lots to learn but it's fun!

Always visit MSN,Money, they have investment ideas, not only for amateurs but also for professionals. http://moneycentral.msn.com/home.asp  While at MSN following the strategy lab analysts to get a feel for what the pros are doing and why.
