  1. Try my soup from leftovers. Waste not want not.

  2. Spend less money.  It is as simple as that.

Everything you buy requires energy to make, ship, advertise, sell, transport home, and recycle or haul away as garbage.

Live in a climate where you don't have to heat or cool.  Most energy in a home goes to heating and cooling.

Curtail travel.  Nowadays with the internet, travel isn't really required to organize or exchange information.

The global warming crowd that flew their private jets to Bali, are just travel junkies.  How much more of an impression would they have made via video-teleconference.

But travel junkies are worse than crack cocaine addicts.

  3. epa.gov is a great source for ideas...

  4. 3 rs reduce/reuse/recycle best rules to follow. If you can try buying from a local market or farmer so your supporting organic foods and it lowers the garbage level. Composting is another way and in the store just look for environment friendly thing don't just get the cheap stuff.

  5. By recycling, you would help to protect the earths natural resources.   If you recycle paper for instance, every 3 months or so, you may have saved a tree somewhere in the world.   We need trees to live.

  6. u can also put a bottle of water in ur toliet every day because it saves water...u can also help my turning off the water when u brush ur teeth...

  7. by recycling cans bottles paper and all things like that

  8. Each individual has whats called a carbon footprint in the environmental world. Each of us can reduce our carbon footprint and thus reduce the overall effects of global warming and other related issues.

My personal favorite tips for going green - integrate a wind, solar or geothermal energy system into your home. By using less energy from the local power grid, you are reducing the need to burn coal at your local power generation plants. Impact = massive.

  9. Eat less meat, support local growers, and start a garden to produce your own food.

  13. Baby steps. Start by recycling, turning off lights before you leave, keeping the A/C low when possible... the little things help. http://www.enernoc.com

  14. Get rid of the computer, ipod, cell phone, plasma TVs.  they all use toxic metals, waste electricity, and pollute environment.
