  1. The 400 is a sprint, You should run fast the entire distance. It is not the same as a 100 or 200, but with proper training it is almost that speed.

    You need to get out fast, relax so you can maintain your speed without tiring, and finish fast.

    You need to do intervals to train your body to tolerate higher levels of lactic acid.
