  1. Find a nice comfortable couch, hog the remote, lay out all the snacks you'll need for the night, and surf away until you find the program you want to watch. When that's over surf some more. There's a lot of good things on tonight.

  2. start with a big board 10 to 12 feet.  let the whitewash push you, once you get moving, get on your knees, then get one foot up then stand.

after that you can start to learn to do it quickly and make a move for the clean part of the wave.

    Just don't hurt anyone.

  3. Simply use Surf Excel(Data) & washing machine(Engine).

Ha ha hha ha ha .............. OK

best put + sigh in between words.

keep sentence length as small as possible for best result.Maximum(8-9 charaters)

  4. Yes! I've been surfing since i was about 7 years old. I'm a native Hawaiian now livin it up in Miami, Florida so you should take my adive very well because this comin from a Hawaiian girl.

One question tho...are you a beginner?

ok if yes, its going to be hard.

    PROS:

being in the water feels so relaxing and soo good.

you'll love it because its fun

your skin will be fresh and smooth from oceans water

    CONS:

you'll have a few straches here and there from your board

you must take good care of it daily because the way you care for your board is very important when its going to go inside the water, its all depends on how good you take care of it. if you dont, there will be seriously bad benefits of surfing.

you must wax before going into water

make sure its in good condition before going in water because serious thing scan happen, like drowning.

surfing is a very dangerous sport.

you must be a very good swimmer too, veryyy good. At least learn to swim 7-8 feet in water.

lay your board on the water, go on it, push yourself into the water, paddle with your arms fast and you must have good hand/eye coordination's. once you've paddled yourself out into the water, wait for waves to come, get up, balance is also very important. you must learn how to. stand on board and try to blanace and stay on it so you wont fall.

well if you have any further questions, message me. i dont want to make a long post

  5. Download the Learn to Surf podcast series at:

    http://www.podsurf.tv

It's quick and to the point. You wont need to know much more. If you're having a specific problem, ask another question and someone will answer you. Usually 't', guy, or me.

  6. This is pointless to discuss, you learn to surf by trying, failing, and learning. No dialogue will really help you. Go watch the local surfers for a while, see what they do, then find a nice area with small waves and try till you make it.

Surfers ettiquette: Always give right of way to the surfer catching the wave, and to the guy(or girl) closest to the lip. If someone is headed right at you it is your responsibility to MOVE OUT OF THE WAY. Unless you enjoy 200lbs of fast moving fiberglass and fins slicing you up.

  7. Stand up fast, keep your grip, don't fall.

  8. You're listening to a native hawaiian too! Im 95% Hwaiian and 5% French.

You must watch experts, practice, learn, try, and fail, and try again until you get it but beware! Surfing can be a dangerous sport. But balance is very important and you must know how to swim very well. You should listen to Hawaiian Surfer Girl's advice.

  9. um if your asking the question ur stupid

just go out there and give it a try and dont get tumbled in the washing machine

  10. Hi James

Surfing is a great sport but one thing you have to have is respect,

    For the ocean

    Other surfers

    And yourself.

Andy Irons has a video in Learning to Surf, along with there are books, Stewart puts one out that is good goes over the basic fundamentals. But a video nor a book will ever get you in touch with the ever changing elements of the water tho.

Take lessons, they are very good surf schools out there or go to a local surf shop and ask if they would  do private. Never surf alone and in conditions that may be to challenging.

If you live in So Cal I can give some locals of great beginner surfing beaches. It is best to start on a longboard ( Iam a longboarder )  the size of board is determined by your height and weight. A tri fin set up will be best for starting out...for stability

Take it slow and just ride the soup...( white water ) in the beginning ...to feel the push of the wave and how to cut ( turn ). Also never let your board go, have control of it at all times...people get hurt that way.

The most important thing is.......have FUN....nothing like it.

    All the best.....an awesome sport.

  11. Go to a beginner break, don't get in anyones way, everything that happens is your fault, do not be confrontational, and learn on crappy waves
