  1. Follow the instructions carefully, make sure you have all the proper tools and plan on something going wrong. Other than that, one tool that the instructions probably don't mention is called a laser transit. You should be able to rent one cheaply at a tool rental place. Using one, will make levelling EVERYTHING much easier. You can use it to level the bottom rails ( important or everything else will be out of level if those rails aren't), checking for high and low spots  on the actual bottom, to get as consistent a bottom as possible and for checking the final level on the top rails when everything is up, liner in and you're ready to fill.

    It's also helpful to consider where you want the pool equipment placed before you start the build. The wall you'll roll out has openings in it for skimmer and return. That's the location of your equipment and within a few feet of where you'll start unrolling the wall and placing it in the bottom rail. Think about the electrical you'll need to run. Multiple extension cords are NOT an option. They can overheat with the motor load and cord distance.

    I really can't provide any other "tips" here. Everything should be in the instruction booklet.
