well me and my husband just told his parents we were pregnant. but this is how the word got out. we were over for dinner and his mom cooked fish, corn and potatoes for dinner. my stomach instantly got nauseous. so i push back my chair and run to the bathroom and just throw up. while my mother-in-law should have been asking was i okay she jumped up and screamed at the top of her lungs "i am going to be a grand mother ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" then she laughed then she cried. it was really weird for them to find out that way.

anybody else have a weird story

  1. my M-I-L is a "know it all" so i was trying to get preggers which was no secret and i would get so sad every month when i wasnt finally i decided to go get on the pill and we would just try later.. found out i was seven weeks at that appointment (SURPRISE!!!) called her and her reaction was i could have told you that... i knew like 3 weeks ago.

(think she could have told me)

  2. LOL! Now that is FUNNY!

Sadly, my "future?" in laws freaked out and told my BF that I should get an abortion. Been pissed at them every since cuz now his mom want to get baby fever and try to control everything. B*tch! LOL!

Your story IS really funny though! LOL!

  3. Don't have a story, but yours was hilarious!!! Too bad you didn't get it on camera LOL.

  4. with my 1st i was  terrified I was going to be skinned alive, I was only 17.... the 2nd we sent  flowers to them and had them delivered during a family dinner, that said "to welcome baby" on the card and had a pair of booties attached.. took them forever to catch on, when they did I thought grandpa would pee with excitement... the 3rd, I was SHOCKED, i was on the pill and took them faithfully, I found out while at the ob getting ready to schedule getting my tubes tied... and my husband had left the week before on a 18 month tour in Iraq... My family was thrilled, and the monster-in-law didn't catch on until I was almost 6 months and HUGE... DUH! she just figured I had "let my self go"... Twit anyways!
