  1. Gary Kemble has done the right thing, lets hope NZRL do the same and remove Graham Lowe from his position of power. How he could condemn one of the best players on a disastrous tour of Britain shows how out of touch he is with todays game.

While clubs pay the money International League will always struggle.

  2. League has always been a professional sport administered by amateurs, so NO is the answer.

  3. No they wont get it right, they have had more changes at the top of the NZRL than any other sporting group in NZ, and Grame Low  needs to shut his mouth, you would think he is the Chairman of the NZRL he is not helping the situation at all

he should spend more time driving his cab.

Kemble should go and Bennett should take over then I would be proud to go back at see a good clash between the Kiwis and the Aussie in League after all that what we pay for

  4. Big resounding NO....

My respect for Graeme Lowe and co-selectors has diminished on the back of comments made by them in respect to what Roy and David have said.

Its all very well to say that they could have taken their grievances thru the correct channels, but would we the public have been any the wiser if nothing was done about their concerns?

For all we know they may have all ready tried and nothing has happened.

Good on them for being brave enough to risk their international careers and come out and state their concerns...IT IS FOR THE GOOD OF THE GAME....lets get it right for a change.

  5. I belive its the players who are not giving the coach a chance. New Zealand can beat Australia if they put everything into the jersey and give 110%. If they can`t do that then its the players who should get sacked and not the coach. That is my thought on the matter but i hope they to take it to Australia in the world cup this year

  6. No, the NZRL are renown for making stupid decisions, the first of many was making a rule that meant you had to live in NZ to coach them, what a cop out if they wanted to sack Gary Freeman just do it, i mean if you listen to him talk about footy he is so passionate about New Zealand, he is their best option, but like i said they'll do the idiotic thing and keep Gary ' knowone's ever heard of me' Kemble.

  7. Well the NZRU are finally going in the right direction after getting rid of the "Gary Freeman rule" which is that the coach must reside in NZ. A silly rule which did not help the Kiwi team at all. Another issue that has plagued the kiwis team for years, are the Aussie NRL clubs not releasing the NZ players to represent their country. It's funny how Aussie can select any player they want, but it becomes an issue when NZ want their players. The NZRU need to get tough on this issue also. I think we should give Kemble another chance, ask Wayne Bennet to be an assistant coach, cause he's obviously not in it for the money, because the job of kiwi's coach doesnt pay much. If they don't improve then give Bennet a go as coach. The tour of britain wasn't a success I think due to the fact that we had a second rate side play over there. A lot of key players were missing from that touring side.  There's a saying that goes "players win & coaches lose", and this is seems to be the case of late with the kiwi's team. The players have to take alot of responsibility for their recent poor performances. Some players are saying that Kemble isnt experienced enough, but he is just as experienced as McClennan from what I've heard. Come on NZRU you can do it...

  8. Nope they seem to always get 2nd rate coaches.

  9. No they wont get it right. To get it right would mean shifting the balance of power over the ditch to where the key people are . ie the players

  10. Yes...but only if they stop selecting, dinosaurs and cuzzy/bros who are on the NZRL Board, in staff and as players, pick the best man/staff/team to Rep your Country, get with the program, change with the times and move forward.

  11. There tough, all they have to do is to get it together but its hard when they are teams like AUS killing there momentum and comfort

  12. Nope no confidence at all.

After many years of promises the same c**p keeps happening over and over, those elected into power seem to abuse it.  Cowboys come in promising things will change but never do, the more things change, the more they seem to stay the same.

Time for a major overhaul of the governing body.

Bennet as coach with Kearney or Precott (or both) as his assistants.

    PEACE
