Does anyone have cork flooring in there home?

Im just wondering how you like it, and if its suitable for a household with active kids! We have carpet now, which doesn't mix well with children! :)

i don't have it in my home, but i am an interior architect, so maybe i can help. it is an environmentally sustainable product and durable for most areas, however i would not recommend it in the bathroom or basement, as moisture can ruin it. it is suitable for living areas and resists heavy furniture marks, however if you have pets it is possible for the surface to become scratched up, but it is harder to damage than most hardwood flooring. it is also comfy to stand on and is a natural sound absorber.

after time the flooring may show wear in heavily traffic areas and will need to be buffed and refinished.
