If so, do they seem to acknowledge you in a positive way (smiling or a hug) but they NEVER speak? I have had recurring dreams like this, and I always feel so good/peaceful when I wake up, but I don't understand why they never speak? Please advise, I have struggled with this a lot over the last few years. Thank you.

  1. About the only one I really have had is about my dad. He passed away about 21 years ago. But in my dream I see him the way he used to be before he got sick.

He does talk, but I can't really remember what he has said...

  2. i have them too, not often. my great grandmother i would see her in my dreams but we wouldnt talk, my mom said when u dream and you see your past on loved ones, that they are visiting u

  3. yes i did last night for the first time since she has passed you kno in my dream she talked and we had conversations but i think they want to show you more than tell you that they miss and love you just as much as you do them.. were they close? because if they were then maybe thats why you have had many accuring dreams about them....

but we are all diffrent i mean i didnt have a dream about my loved one untill lasnight.

  4. I've been having the same recurring dream after my father died of lung cancer this March 2008. Its the same message, though different scenes; in each dream he tells me the same message, that "he's not dead". I've had this dream about 3 times now, since he died. The dreams are strange ... sometimes beautiful and sometimes odd, but he never really says much in them ... he just shows you through messages or images.

I had another dream which was more of a vision really right after my dad died; I dreamt he was walking through a grocery store telling me that he was fine and he was happy to be free. (He was a parapalegic the last 4 years of his life caused from a hemorraghic stroke) and oddly enough the activities director in the home he was staying at (he was near completely paralyzed and needed round the clock care) she said had told my mother that she had a dream about my dad -- the same one-- walking down the aisle of a grocery store, happy and waving. PLEASE KNOW I never had any contact with this activities director before and no information had passed that would have led us to having the same information. So I think its possible he could be communicating .. I think its likely a combination of both-- your dream process and an intuitive window opening for communication on an emotional/telepathic level.
