Does anyone have experience or opinions about the 368 Meridian motoryacht?

Regardless of the creature comforts on this boat, the 368 is one UGLY boat.  The lines and proportions of this boat are all wrong....it looks like a floating Clorox bottle.

Meridian is essentially Brunswick's attempt to shed the "Bayliner" stigma from its larger hulls, so I would make sure the boat is well surveyed before you buy it (assuming it is used).

Personally I think there are better manufacturers to choose from in this segement.

The Meridian 368 does an admirable job of delivering many of the features found in a full-size motor yacht in a compact 36-foot hull. Equally important, she does it at a price sure to attract many entry-level buyers. For openers, this is a coastal cruiser and not an offshore passagemaker. Range is limited thanks to the 368’s modest fuel tankage, and her low-deadrise hull is no picnic in an offshore chop. When it comes to amenities, however, the Meridian is in her element. Beginning with a spacious salon and including two comfortable staterooms, a well-appointed galley with cherry cabinetry, and two full heads, the accommodations of the 368 rival those of a much larger boat. The salon’s tiered windows admit plenty of natural lighting while providing a panoramic view of the outdoors, and a large picture window in the master stateroom overlooks the extended swim platform. On the bridge, the helm is forward and a wet bar and lounge seating are standard. Note the Meridian’s unusual “floating” hardtop. Additional features include bow and stern thrusters, teak-and-holly galley floor, opening salon windows, and salon entertainment center. Standard 370hp gas engines will cruise at 18–19 knots, and optional 330hp Cummins diesels will cruise in the mid 20s.

I have an opinion. I think it's terrible. I'd rather be birched than given one. It is a slap in the face to god.
