Does anyone have experience with natural remedies for anxiety

I currently use Lorazipam. It does not help much any more. Some of the natural stuff is bad for your organs so what do you do? counsling has not helped in the past. I just need something mild I can tolerate to make me feel better.

  1. What works for me is called Panicyl.  It is a blend of herbs/vitamins that all help with anxiety.  It has L-Theanine, Ashwaganda, GABA, and some others I can't recall.  All natural stuff - not drugs.  


  2. marijuana, what could be better than something natural and from the earth rather then man made chemicals that are no were near as effective as what we already had available from the earth in the first place

  3. There is something called Rescue Remedy which is all natural (made of various plant and flower extracts) that is made for helping to control stress and anxiety. You can buy it in either a spray form or a smaller vile with a dropper that you just drop a few drops under your tongue. I have taken it and it has no negative side effects.  

    You can get it at most organic/natural food stores.

  6. there are alot of alternatives people dont realize.  Theres alot of changes u can do like cutting out sugar, changing your diet, taking vitamins, there are some herbs help with that two of them is by standard processing  called orchex or mintran.  I to was once like u and changed my lifestyle and finally getting better.  email me for more info

  7. I used to feel the same way. Please take this into consideration. It worked for me, although I am not you.

    I had overwhelming anxiety. It turned out to be my use of Splenda. Yup Splenda. How could something that taste so good, be so bad?



    I like to say sucralose, not Splenda, because that is what Splenda is. And it is in a lot of stuff. Sadly, the package doesn't have to say Splenda or diet to have sucralose in it. You have to read labels. So, you might be using it and don't even know it!



    Sucralose is poison. It ruined five years of my life. I had a laundry list of medical problems while taking it, including overwhelming anxiety, depression, mood swings, insomnia, gastrointestinal issues and more.

    Go ahead, google: anxiety splenda or anxiety sucralose or insomnia splenda or insomnia sucralose



    The slogan, "Made from sugar..." is very misleading. Splenda might be made from sugar, but it is far from sugar. The resulting chemical is an organochloride (chlorocarbon). Organochlorides are typically poisons.

  9. Best advise I ever got was from a former school mate who became a doctor. Exercise exercise exercise,---- had tremendous anxiety problems. Took his advise and have been walking two miles a day 5 days a week . after my walk i will do a few pushups and crunches , just enouth to feel it not enough to hurt. This has been going on for twenty years now , never felt better. Ya know you can solve a lot of problems while walking briskly for thirty  minutes. Your breathing pattern will become regular and so will your mind. I also do deep breathing exercises from time to time during the day. Now this doc had common sense , didn't just give me pills to solve a problem. You will also tire from the exercise and sleep much better. Your body needs rest to cope with todays world.

  11. I have been having problems breathing and stuff and i have to have my heart looked at because I'm at an age were they think something might occure but they think its just anxiety and sometimes just laying down and chilling outside like on a hammock or something helps me

  13. Well, I had anxiety issues years ago and I was told about a particular type of daily deep breathing exercise that apparently had a good success rating. I didn't have the self discipline to do it every day though. Theres sure to be info about it on the net, maybe you could look it up...

  15. Talk to your doctor, i have found anxiety has been a problem from about 10 years of age and im now 17, the best thing i can do is talk to someone, your doctor could probably prescribe  a light relaxant which should help.

  16. I have found that marijuana is a great natural remedy to anxiety. The cure-all for many things. =)
