  1. If you want to work from home, you have to do the work yourself and start your own business. If you are looking for a "job" like with an employer, you will only find scams. The ways people make money online is selling things on sites like craigslist (used to be ebay but they are going downhill now), selling things on a website (not just physical things, digital things), investing in domain names and flipping them, selling other peoples products (referring people to websites and getting paid for it when they buy things), selling website hosting (people need to host websites somewhere, let them pay you $10 a month to host it under your company, get 300 people to do this and thats $3,000 a month for you). I get paid by many companies for affiliate marketing, in addition to domain flipping. Medley.com for example sends me checks for promoting their service. I send people to them, and they send me checks every 2 weeks. I don't work for them though. It's not a job because I'm an independent contractor...that's the way it works when you make money online...you are not an employee, you are independent, meaning they don't have any obligations to you such benefits or anything, they just have to pay you when you bring them business.
