Does anyone have good experience with a good folding bike that fit in a airplane c-172, 182?

Question

the bike is not too big nor heavy, preferred suitable riding on and off road.

Believe it or not, most standard mountain bikes will fin in the backseat of a C-172 if you simply remove the front tire.

Took a girlfriend out to Catalina and we did that.  Worked out pretty well.  The bikes fit fine and we didn't have to do anything weird to get them in.
