Does anyone have info on the toxicity of elastomeric sealants? is it safe to put inside a water container?

i know the numbers on the bottom by the recycle symbol tell you... but i dont know what the numbers mean i am against bottled water because it's not good for the earth and the water can be sealed in there forever....

and water that get warm in a water bottle (say leaving it in your car) isn't healthy to drink anymore that's all i know
