Can't find much by Googling it but it seems that she was hitch hiking from Vic Park to Armadale after being dropped there by a taxi when she ran out of money and her body was found at Canning Dam.

Is that the girl, last seen outside Cafe Affair (Miller & Shepparton Rds) Victoria Park?

Police put out a notice about a car.

I thought it was back in the mid 1980's but the above link says July 1991
