  1. Ha watch your spam

  2. There are many good websites, like some that are mentioned, but the biggest key is timing. The best times to cruise is when the kids are in school. I have gotten my best deals in October, November, February and May. If you are flexible on when you can go, you usually can get a better deal. Good luck and have a good time.

  3. I used to work at Vacations to Go, and they do usually have pretty good rates. I use cruise.com because not only do I work there now, but the rates are discounted even further, and you can get some good amenities like on board credit, upgrades, and pre paid gratuities.

  4. I've found that the cruise websites themselves often have the best rates for cruising.

  5. Hi Bev S., There's an online booking site similar to Expedia, Travelocity and Orbitz but with way more affordable fares and even at wholesale prices. I have a few websites you may find interesting. Platinum One Destinations/netTrav allows you access to full-service concierge consultants who are rewarded for finding you the best rates, again, even if it means wholesale prices.  I can help you better if you e-mail me directly at TravelRoyal@P1Drevolution.com. Also register for a free Travel Event  to learn quality information by visiting my business site(s);

  6. Web sites like expedia and travelosity may have good pricing, but beware, some of the pricing does not include taxes, port fees, fuel surcharges and a service fee.  And if something goes wrong or you have to change something, good luck.  I would use a travel agent every time.  Travel agents know what promos are out there and can qualify you for a great rate.  And if something goes wrong they are there to assist you.  Remember the travel agent works for you not the cruise line.  They are in your corner and want your business.  Many of them cut the fares or will give on board credits or American Express debit cards as a thank you for booking with them.  Try a travel agent, they are there to help you.

    Happy Sailing!

  7. Check out this website.  I obtain fairly great deals through them.

    www.vacationstogo.com

  8. I also like vacations to go because they show what they call a 90 day ticker. These are cruises which have been discounted quite a bit, but are coming up within a 90 day time period. Very reliable

  9. the cruise lines direct do not offer the best deals.

    I have 21 yrs exp. in the travel business and not once has the best cruise fare been found direct.

    Watch out for site like Expedia, RCI and others, they charge a service fee just to take your credit card.

    Good luck
