you get what you paid for. that is the thing.

be carefull with progressive is expensive and when you claim they do not have good customer service. i stay with

state farm , allstate , or geico.

They make it sound good till you try to file a claim.  Quite the scam.  I would avoid them and go with a reputable company even if it costs a little more.

I HAVE THEM  ! i am only 23 i have decent coverage it is 250 a month for a 2005 navigator, what i dont like is they renew my policy every six months and i have to pay the big amount up front like i am a new customer . . . makes me wanna slap the . . . . out of them other than that i have never had to file a claim BUT they are the cheapest insurance i found . . .  and i have been searching at http://www.COMPAREusINSURANCE.com for a while now trying to get a new policy before the next six months is up

i almost went with them when i moved to a new state due to really high insurance costs.

i googled 'esurance consumer reviews'  and read A LOT of really nasty things about them.  Apparently they don't like to pay for things.  Also, a lot of people said that the quote they give you is normally wrong and they just charge you the new amount without telling you.

I went with state farm instead.  They only charged me 10 bucks more than the esurance quote for 6 months.  I thought the luxury of having an office to go to if i needed help vs. just a phone number was well worth 10 dollars.

I have never had any experience with esurance, but I do have some hesitations about online insurance companies and how reliable they are.  It's one thing to have cheap insurance, but you also want to make sure you are insured with a company that is going to actually pay out if you get in to an accident.  You don't want an insurance company that you are going to have to fight to get your claim settled.

Most of the people that opt for online insurance companies do it because they think that they are getting a cheaper price and a better deal, but I don't think that is always true.  You can find insurance at a great price with a regular insurance company as well; you just have to do your research. I would compare quotes from 3-5 different insurance companies (including esurance if thats still what you want to do) to see who offers you the best rate.  The site below is really helpful because it allows you to compare quotes for all of the insurance companies in your area for free so you can decide which company is the best for you.
