Does anyone have ironing tips for organza?

i'm making a formal gown out of silk essence and organza overlays. it's not terribly wrinkled but could use a light pressing.

  1. I always use a pressing cloth on organza and it comes out nice. You can even spray the pressing cloth with a little water if the organza is really wrinkled.

  2. Steamer or next time you take a Hot Shower put the dress in the bathroom sometime just the steam from a shower is enough to get the winkles out. Good Luck ;)))

  4. try using a steamer from a couple inches away.  hold the bottom of the garment to pull it straight and tight and slowly move from top to bottom.  be careful of your fingers, just the steam can burn!  it's the only way to do it and make sure you won't cause creases or damage to the garment.  irons are often to hot to be right up against such delicate fabics.
