Does anyone have issues with sportsbook poker and bad beats?

I have been playing poker with a friend of mine on sportsbook poker for the last couple of weeks, and I have NEVER seen so many stupid hands. I have played on many sites before this one and have not seen this number of runner runner suck outs ever. We get trips on the flop, go all in, called by some low connected hand that gets the 2 gut shot cards on the turn and river for a straight. This type of thing has happened way too many times to be just coincidence since it is SO far from reality it isn't even funny. And it seems this happens to a bunch of other people too.

Have you had issues with this site? What kind of hands have you had that have been beaten by a runner runner suck out on this site? I called them and they say they use the same software to generate cards that many other sites use and that computers can't even predict the cards that will come because the software is so good. WRONG! I can predict the cards. Whatever's needed to complete the suck out. Anyone else?

I agree with you about the bad beats and frequency of the amazing and incredibly unlikely outdraws. I no longer play at Sportsbook Poker.

Maybe it is the newbies and donks on the site that call everything with anything and then chase, chase, chase, but that happens at a lot of online sites.

There is a theory that there are some sites that may use what is called a Poker Action Flop. The theory proposes that some sites use this method to penalize the best players and subsidize the bad players in order to keep them on the site and to "churn" the action. Here is a link to the theory:

If there's lots of people in a hand then you're going to run into this a lot.  Several donks chasing hands mean that a lot of the time one of them will hit it and even though it's not an EV+ move for any of them this doesn't make it any better for you.  However these are the games that you can make the most money at.  The best advice I can give is to understand that folks are entitled to play any sort of garbage they choose and you're not entitled to win the hand until all the cards are dealt.  If you're wondering if the fix is in or whatever there's no sites which fool around with this stuff and it's all random even though sometimes it doesn't feel that way when you lose a lot of hands you feel ENTITLED to win.  That's the problem actually not the other players laying beats on you.  Most players have this attitude though and it hurts your game in addition to making poker less enjoyable.

If you really can predict the cards on the other hand then you should be making a mountain of money ;)  There's a bunch of software developers who work hard at finding even a little c***k in the armor of RNG's and believe me it's not in the poker site's best interests to have this less than completely random or else they risk being taken down by cheating.

I play on Sportsbook and Superbook (same site) and I haven't really found any problems. With bad beats. I mean I've had them everywhere. I don't think sportsbook was any different. I did find I had major issues with the software. I mean I got beat on AA or AK suited or any power hand countless times. I would go all in with AA on the flop or turn or something and some guy would make a flush, straight, trip, ect ect.

However, I've had this happen just as much on other sites.

What are you suggesting that they are doing?

Your pain might be that SB is FULL OF IDIOTS. I mean these people really don't know how to play poker. I often found myself saying "Why the h**l would anyone play that hand? And how the h**l did he win?". It just happens man. I like to stick to Full Tilt Poker, its the most balanced and best software IMO.

Oh, I would suggest because you are so frustraighted that you actually called them and are asking this on Yahoo that you lay down the cards for a few days, or try another site for a little while. h**l play free tournies or play with your goldcards/chips for a while or something....
