I definitely believe it exists. Not only am I hopeful but I happen to have an aunt and uncle who have been together since they were 15. My uncle was always MADLY in love with my aunt, and at first she wanted nothing to do with him (back in the 50's) but finally he won her heart and they've been together ever since they're now in their late 60's and they STILL adore each other. My uncle still calls my aunt baby and does any and everything for her, and my aunt will always put my uncle before everything and refers to him as "my husband" or "my love." They are an amazing couple that I've always looked up to, I hope to have long lasting love like theirs, i've been with my fiance since I was 16 and we've now been together 12 years and we're still madly in love. you just have to work on it and never forget that "1st year" love that you had.

Im sure some people do. It was based on a book too so i dont really know. but that movie is amazing
