a girl came into my work yesterday and she had these flower tattoos on her shoulder blade and in the center of them she had diamonds and it was so beautiful. i was talking to her and she was telling me that they were microdermal piercings which are permenant and are a form of surface peircing... i was just wondering if any of you had them and what it was like getting them..do u regret them? what was the procedure like for u? are they expensive? what prompted u to get them?

are they inserted by an actual piercer or does a doctor have to do them? ive seen alot of kids at my school with surface piercings like back of the neck or girls with their hips pierced but i havent seen anything like that

  1. just remember that it is permanent and if it gets infected it will cost you a hospital visit.

  2. I have one on my neck like in between my collar bones in the dip thing. They are called "dermal anchoring" but the guy that pierced mine called them point piercings.

I love mine. It is really fast and does hurt but isn't too bad. It was actually the fastest healing piercing I have. I think i payed $50 but I got it done at a tattoo convention.

The guy that did mine is Alec Bezzina, he is really nice and knows what he is talking about.

That eye thing is pretty neat. I would totally do it! its cute!

  3. I have two of them, on my upper back/ lower neck area. I dont regret them one bit- I love them to bits. They cost me about $60 CDN each, plus a $15 CDN downsize each after the healing process was over. They are inserted by an actuall piercer, any reputable shop should be able to do this for you. You can get them put just about anywhere- but most people get them in the back of the neck. My piercer called them dermal implants, they are perment, but can be surgically removed, and will leave scars if removed. This process can be done world wide, I got mine done in canada. They werent as painful as they look, but they are kind of a picky piercing to heal properly. Write me if you want to know more.
