My dear, you cannot buy a "cruise ticket" the way you can buy  a plane or bus ticket.  All cruise line fares are sold based on two people going and sharing one cabin.  So if anyone is going on the date that you are interested in there would have to be two tickets for sale.  In addition, cruise tickets are sold to persons by name and its not like a ticket to ride a city bus where anyone can use it.  ONLY THE  PERSON WHO BOUGHT THE TICKET CAN USE IT.

Also, it is probably too late to clear security, even if you could get a cabin.  The cruise lines ask that you allow a couple of weeks to do that.
