  1. These are 5 tips to help:

    1. Try simple board games like shoots and ladders. Those are fun!

    2. When I was that age, my sister and I would make up stories or comics. Do that with them!

    3. Kids LOVE to color! Try that!

    4. Bring play-doe for them. They love that stuff.

    5. Before bed, sing to them. That will lull them right to sleep.

  2. Nickjr.com is great for printouts.  Lots of colouring sheets and other fun things to do.

  3. i would say try the search button and ask for kid sites like Disney and Nickelodeon well have printout material if try yahoo kids and see if they have any here a few site below that you can check out hope this helps out a bit.

  4. I have just typed in free printable worksheets in my search engine and have gotten loads.

    Some are;

Disney online, Billy Bears free printables, Free preschool worksheets from the Kid's page archive, Worksheet universe educational worksheets for first grade, Teacher freebies, I'm sure there are many more. Hope this helps.

  5. If you go to crayola.com they have a lot of stuff to print off. And I am pretty sure fisherprice.com has stuff to print off also. But the crayola web site has a lot of cool stuff to print off. Good Luck!

  6. Try  folding a paper into 3rd.  Student can illustrate the beginning of story, the middle and the end on each section of the page.  You can use printer paper if you don't have anything else.

    beginning                                  middle                                end

Students love to draw their favorite part of the story, no matter what the age.

  7. Have you tried the BBC website?

  8. pbskids.org has olot of print outs check it out

  9. THE NAME GAME

Get one piece of paper per child and write the names of story characters or real people that they would ALL know (one name per paper or cue cards work well, too). Then randomly tape them to children's backs. Kids have to ask each other questions to find out who they are. Example, "Do I have a tail?" or "Am I a boy?". For older kids, allow only yes or no questions to make it more challenging. You can play first to discover their identity wins or play as a team to see how fast the class can all learn their identities. Kids always love to try to beat their previous time!

  10. Go to learningpage.com you will find a lot of worksheets for p-3rd grade students.

There are also a lot of other sites that offer free worksheets.

    MotherHubbard.com

Type in free worksheets for primary students.

    You'll get loads of options.
